Welcome to the Grupstra Reef Symbiosis Lab at Florida Atlantic University. We investigate how coral–microbe partnerships (symbiosis) influence coral survival under environmental change and use this knowledge to inform coral restoration and reef conservation. Our team works on the FAU Davie campus and at the FAU Marine Lab at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton.
