It gets cold in Texas! Here are Dive Mutualists Lauren Howe-Kerr and I finishing up one of our dives as part of our American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) scientific dive training with Moody Gardens in Offats Bayou, Galveston in January 2018. Water temperatures were around 7 degrees Celsius, visbility was nearly nonextistent.
